Joost is not just a software package to download and run, it's a platform that can be extended and improved in many different ways. dev.joost.com is a site for developers working with Joost as a platform, and in particular for creators of Joost Widgets.

We provide a high level overview in the document Introducing Joost Widgets, and more detail in the Widget Developer area, including the API documentation, some examples and tutorials.

We use the Developer Blog and the mailing list for announcements, events and mini tutorials.
